Why is there a hold on my transfers?

For your security, all incoming transfers you create in the Zeta App are held. This is done in case the transfer is contested by the other bank. It provides time for it to settle and ensures your account is not overdrawn. Once the money has successfully transferred to your Zeta account, there is a 3 business day hold period.

If you'd like to avoid the hold period, create a transfer from the external account using your Zeta account and routing number. Any transfer created from an external source (not within our app) will have no hold period. You only have to wait the time it takes for the for the transfer to complete.
