Is our money at Zeta FDIC insured?

Updated at September 12th, 2023

Yes! Zeta Joint and Personal Accounts are insured up to the standard maximum deposit insurance amount of $250,000 per depositor through our bank partner, Piermont Bank, Member FDIC1.

If you have an account with two account owners (aka two depositors), that would mean your deposit insurance totals $500,000 between you both. In a personal account with one account owner, you would be covered for $250,000 in FDIC insurance.

NOTE: FDIC insurance is calculated per depositor not per account. So if you have more than one Zeta account totaling $300,000, you would only be FDIC insured for $250,000.
