What does this mean for me?

Updated at August 20th, 2021

This upgrade requires you to opt in to a new account structure but you will continue to have the Available to Spend, Goals, and Bill Reserve features in your new account. In the future, this new account structure will allow us to support others across your family including individual accounts, kids, nannies and more.

Once you’ve agreed to transition to this new account, you will receive a new account number along with a brand-spanking-new Limited Edition Zeta Joint Card in a few weeks. To ensure your account transition is an easy and seamless one, we’ve been working closely with our Customer Advisory Board. Additionally, your Zeta Concierge will work tirelessly to make your upgrade super smooth - including moving over direct deposits, bills and more.

We also decided to use this upgrade moment to migrate from our original partner bank to a new one - Piermont Bank.

“Why?” - you ask. Well, we could not be more thrilled to partner with Piermont who is super excited to support our roadmap for joint and family experiences that we are building for the long-term. Here’s why we picked Piermont:

  • their entire business is focused on supporting fintechs like us (rather than viewing partnerships as a business unit)
  • they bring deep expertise in commercial and retail banking
  • they have an expertise for expanded family products (hint: custodial accounts, minor accounts and even individual accounts)
  • they share our values around responsible innovation in financial services

If you want to keep using Zeta Joint Cards you'll need to opt in to the new account. To ensure a smooth transition, please opt in by September 24, 2021. You can learn how to get started here!
